The strength of the Chamber lies in its volunteer members acting as catalysts to bring forth the views of the business community at all levels of government. Participation on one of our numerous committees helps sharpen your skills while you make valuable business contacts. Here is a list of committees for your consideration:

• Economic Development (1st Wednesday of each month)
• Legislative Affairs (3rd Friday of each month except during Legislative Session)
• Transportation & Land Use (2nd Tuesday of each month)
• Small Business (3rd Wednesday of each month)

Programs
New Member Orientation Meetings: Provides an opportunity for members to meet the Chamber staff, Board, and Committee members. Introduces members to the personal and professional rewards MCCC membership offers.

Member-to-Member (M2M) Discounts: Provide members with an opportunity to help each other and build a stronger business community. The program was designed to increase member business activity by encouraging sales through discounts and other incentives. It is free of charge for members in good standing.

US SCORE: A free business consulting service available to help you maximize profits or start up a business.

Networking
Monthly opportunities to make new business contacts meet old friends and identify potential customers in a social setting, such as:

• Power Networking Breakfasts
• Chamber After Hours Events
• All-County Networking Events

Signature Events
Provide an elegant setting for getting to know your peers in the business. Attendance at any of these events averages 500 members or more, with political flavor, and keynote speakers. A rare opportunity for fun and business connections.

• Public Safety Awards Luncheon (March)
