After decades of underinvestment in our transporation infrastructure, we must make building new road and transit capacity a priority to ensure our community's future competitiveness and to keep Montgomery County Moving.

This fall is an important time for securing Federal support for two critical regional transportation projects: The Corridor Cities Transitway and the Purple Line. 

The Corridor Cities Transitway will connect Upcounty communities such as Germantown and Clarksburg to the existing regional transit network, relieving congestion in the I-270 Corridor.
