MCCC Foundation President Barbara Ashe (pictured above, left) introduced the Veteran Institute of Procurement (VIP) Program at several National Conferences this summer. Barbara was a guest speaker at the Veteran Entrepreneur Training Symposium in Reno, NV, she moderated a panel discussion at the National Veteran Small Business Conference and Expo in New Orleans, LA, and will address the American Legion Convention in Minneapolis, MN today. VIP Signature Sponsor Jackie Asencio, President and CEO of C2 Portfolio, Inc. (pictured above, right) will join Barbara in the presentation to the American Legion Convention. VIP is designed for veteran-owned businesses to accelerate their ability to win Federal contracts. These national conferences attract 400-10,000 attendees from the Veteran business community. The event celebrates individuals and businesses that make our economy and community thrive.
