On-Site Agency Visits
GovConNet will facilitate opportunities for government contractors to receive detailed information regarding a targeted agency’s key strategic direction, challenges and resources as related by the agency head, chief information officer and small business directors. Events included: FDA, NRC and NIST site visits

Congressman Chris Van Hollen is the honorary chair of this annual networking event held at The Universities at Shady Grove. Attendees gain access to Federal, State and Local government representatives and contractors through participation in workshops and at the Expo. Matchmaking opportunities with prime contractors to pre-selected participants.

GovConNet Institute
The GovConNet Institute provides advanced training to Federal government contractors in the transitional stage with the real world tools and knowledge needed to succeed at the next level and increase owner value. The course is instructed by MCCC GovConNet expert professional service providers. Subject matter is geared for winning and profitably maintaining Federal government contracts.

GovConNet Member Exchange Meetings (for MCCC Members Only)
The GovConNet Member Meetings was established for Chamber members to encourage and promote the awareness and opportunities for the advancement of doing business with Federal, State and local government agencies. It provides best business practices and regulatory updates for prospective, new and experienced government contractors.  Special guests include:  Lockheed Martin Corporation, NIH CIO-SP3 Program Director, and L-3 STRATIS.

Procurement Forums
GovConNet designs forums featuring prominent keynote speakers and panelists who provide insight and intelligence on market trends and emerging policy changes in doing business with the federal government. Events included: GSA Construction and Building Services Program, New Administration = New Opportunities and In-Sourcing, Procurement Trends & Forecasts and the January 20, 2011 Public Health IT Forum.

Government Contractor Training Seminars for Veterans 
GovConNet will support the business development and management efforts of our government contractors through focused education seminars and events to include: Federal Procurement Conference and Expo. Small Business Institute for Procurement and Veteran Institute for Procurement (VIP).
