The MCCC Public Safety Awards Luncheon [PSA] is the largest event of its kind in the DC-Metro Region. It is the one day each year that the business community joins together to celebrate and honor those who keep us safe 24/7. Valor Awards, Unit Citations, a PSA Corporate Vital Link and PSA Government Partner of the Year are presented. Join the MCCC Board of Directors and sponsors, public safety officials and honored guests on March 31, 2017.
Presentations will be made to first responders who saved lives during the Flower Branch Apartment explosion and fire and successfully captured a man on a deadly shooting spree in Montgomery County.

The PSA Government Partner of the Year is the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Maryland.

The PSA Champion of the Year awardee is Mother's Against Drunk Driving Maryland.

The PSA Corporate Vital Link awardees are Intoxalock®, Lifesafer® and Smart Start®.

The 42nd Annual Public Safety Awards Luncheon was held on 11, 2016 at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and County Conference Center. Nearly 1,300 attendees gathered to hear incredible stories of valor and honor the men and women who keep us safe every day.

Public Safety Scholarship Fund

The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce Community Foundation (MCCCF) supports the Public Safety Scholarship Fund at Montgomery College to fund the studies of students who are children of current or past Montgomery County public safety professionals or who are studying to pursue a career in public safety.
