Global Trade Forum Recap: Topic for October 2, Accessing Contracting Opportunities from the Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs

Representatives from the largest multilateral development banks (MDBs) including the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank joined forces today with the Advocacy Center, U.S. Commercial Services and Sheladia Associates, Inc., to educate the attending businesses on the magnitude of Global opportunity and how to compete for procurements.   The Keynote speaker was Mr. Antwaun Griffin, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Domestic Operations, U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration.  Mr. Griffin emphasized the importance of global trade to strengthen U.S. economic growth.  He also presented statistics on the magnitude of international opportunities for U.S. businesses.   Mr. Bill Burwell, Director, US Commercial Service, U.S. Export Assistance Center served as Master of Ceremonies.
